WAH MEI SCHOOL

Dorena implements the English curriculum and oversees the overall instruction in the Teddy Bear and Honey Bear classes. She has an A.A. degree in Library Technology, a B.A. in Fine Arts, and an M.A. in Bilingual/Cross Cultural Education. She has an Elementary Teaching Credential, a Children's Center Supervision Permit and has completed the Early Literacy and Heads Up Reading Program. She also mentors Early Childhood Education interns from City College of San Francisco. She loves shopping, fairs, cooking, guinea pigs and travelling in the Bay Area with her husband Lynn. Dorena has been with WMS since September 1978.
