Dear Parents,
Thank you for your interest in Wah Mei School Weekend Chinese Program. The first day of instruction for the 2010 - 2011 school year is September 6th, Saturday.
The hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The location is 1400 Judah Street/19th Avenue.
The goals of our Chinese Program are to lay a solid foundation for young children in learning the Chinese language, to instill in them the appreciation of the Chinese language, history and culture. This program enrolls children aged from 4 to 14 years old. They will be practicing verbal skills and vocabulary, studying reading and writing of Chinese characters, learning Chinese customs, values and culture
Three installments, each of $140 payment, should be made respectively on the first weeks of September, December and March. A registration fee of $10 per school year per student is due upon enrollment. Please refer to back page for special discounts.
A new school year calendar and a registration and emergency information form are enclosed. 謝謝您對華美學校中文班的興趣。新學年度開學日期是九月四日。上課時間是星期六、上午九時至十一時半。地點在1400 朱打街夾十九亞運由。
華美中文班的宗旨在幫助學童奠定學中文的基礎、並啟發他們對中國語文、歷史、文化的欣賞和興趣。我們招收四歲至十四歲學童，鼓勵練習口語技巧、閱讀、書寫和學習日常實用字彙。
學費分三期繳交，分別在九月、十二月和三月的第一個星期付費$140。另有註冊費十元。特價詳情，請閱背面資料。

To apply, print out the application form, complete it and send it to the address below along with a $25 application fee (make check payable to: WAH MEI SCHOOL) . You may also apply in person. Please call us to make an appointment to visit the school.
