BASE offers high quality before and afterschool programming that allows students K-6 to achieve success through dual language learning, homework support, and hands-on enrichment activities.
To apply, please submit the following to afterschool@wahmei.org or in person at 1400 Judah St.
– Completed enrollment packet
– $50 Application Fee (one-time credit card payment form, or cash/check)
– Income verification (current year tax documents or three months’ paystubs) to qualify for the sliding scale family fees.
Program Highlights:
- Low Teacher to Student ratio of 1:10 for Kindergarten, 1:20 for 1st-6th
- Outdoor play before and after school
- Dual language homework support
- Thematic enrichment activities that enhance school day learning
- Healthy breakfast and snacks served daily
- Community building activities, special events, and performances
This program serves K-6 students at Alice Fong Yu Alternative School only.
Applications should be submitted as soon as possible as space may be limited.
